Product Disclosure Statements (PDS)

You must receive a product disclosure statement (PDS) prior to purchasing insurance.

Information in a PDS

A PDS sets out:

  1. Features of the product
  2. Fees that apply
  3. Information about complaints handling and cooling off rights
  4. Other information that is relevant to your decision to insure

The information in a PDS should be presented clearly and concisely, with enough detail for you to compare a range of similar insurance products.
